Jag läste nyligen en ruskigt bra bok: ”Jesus Culture”, av Banning Liebscher. Måste få dela ett citat som bokstavligen fick mig att rysa:

“Everyday, all around us, people are experiencing a famine of love and power. They have never sensed the true love that comes from God. They feel unable to change and stuck in life. They live surrounded by sickness, depression, pain and hopelessness. It is as if a storm is raging inside them and they are powerless to calm it. They are searching for an answer and the answer resides in you…He is the answer! When you became saved, Jesus and His Kingdom took up residence in you. Power over death, sickness, hopelessness, sin, depression and addictions now lives in you. You possess the answer to every question inside of you. You have experienced a banquet that is worth sharing…if they don’t see power and love in us, then why would they listen to what we have to say? The world is drowning, and people are desperately seeking those who know how to swim.”

Wow…jag tror vi som är kristna lätt blir hemmablinda och vänjer oss vid saker. T.ex. att våra kroppar är tempel för den helige Ande! I mig bor Närvaron från en annan värld som bara väntar på att få manifestera sig. Bill Johnson brukar säga: ”The holy Spirit is in you as a river, not as a lake.”

Låt oss leva medvetna om ”Jesus inside”, och våga ge Honom tillfälle att verka genom oss!
